wantadistraction: (small smile - genuinely sweet at times)

Lydia wouldn't lie and say there was a point where she hadn't wanted Aiden for a bit of fun. She had been wanting a distraction and there had been something about him that promised that kind of fun. She wanted to say that finding out he was one of the Alpha twins was the reason she didn't want him anymore but she knew the real reason. A reason she hadn't shared with anyone else.

Peter.

Everyone else could think she had simply lost interest in Aiden, in classic Lydia fashion, but she knew it was because Peter had come out of nowhere to blindside her. Even now she could feel the marks on her body and the pleasant ache between her thighs. It was enough to confirm that she truly didn't want Aiden. Still, he flirted and she played coy because that was something she was good at. He teased, he charmed and he pleaded with her to let him come over but she never told him yes.

Even today, he pushed and she merely, gently, let him down with a little pat on his chest before wandering away. She had been quick to leave the school after that, not wanting to risk running into him again or to have him follow her home.

Entering her home, she made sure the door was locked behind herself before placing her bag on the floor besides the stairs. "Mom?" She called out, knowing full well she wouldn't get a response in turn. Reaching up to tug her hair tie from her hair, she let the curls fall as she climbed the stairs to her room, humming to herself.

Letting herself into her room, she wondered then where Peter was and how long she had before he popped up. If only because she was considering a shower just in case there was some residual scent from Aiden on her.
