It wasn't that Peter wanted to leave Scott behind, by any means, but he'd rushed back in there and the Alpha twins--who'd flipped sides just like he'd said they would--were right behind them and Cora had already stopped breathing once. So, he snarled at Isaac who could see the twins behind them and knew, if nothing else, he had a duty to his pack--of which Peter and Cora were a major part.
He floored it.
The epinephrine had burned off a little too fast, which had been embarrassing, but the adrenaline was still pumping--possibly the only thing keeping him upright, honestly. That and needing to take care of his pack...Cora hadn't regained consciousness, and he could only hope someone had found Derek.
Isaac didn't know where Scott was, didn't know if he'd gotten out, and he was shaking, but he got them back to the loft safely. Sure, the pack knew where it was, but they knew where all of them lived and where else were they going to go? Better somewhere they could sort of defend. They didn't have Ms. Blake, anyway, so why would they come after them?
When they got to the loft, Peter got Cora out of the car, lifting her with a pained wince, but when Isaac tried to take her, he snarled at the boy until he ran ahead, getting doors instead, letting them all into the loft and skidding to a bit of a halt at finding Lydia and Hayley sitting there.
Peter noticed the girls, but didn't process, moving across to get Cora on the table, somewhere they could work on her more easily than the sofa. After he got her there, he just leaned against it, head hanging down, breathing a little too hard.

Elijah snarled at the darkness and the noise, already moving before Klaus went flying--with his hand clutched around Jennifer's throat. His hand squeezed harder, as much involuntarily as intentional, which might have killed her. Elijah right behind them, though, had his hand through her back, hand curling around her heart. As Klaus collapsed, he pulled the organ out, backing up with it in his hand.
Isaac just...stopped where he was and stared and looked at Elijah and then Derek and then Elijah and then Derek. "...Did he just....?"
Chris came down right behind Stiles, guns drawn and at the ready, breathing out a sigh of relief at finding two live bodies instead of blood.

Allison was staring at the sight in mild horror as she stood back, an arrow half drawn though she lowered her bow since there was no point for it anymore.
Stiles had no idea what was happening though as he was focused on the sight of his Dad tied up but alive. "Dad!"
"Stiles!" The Sheriff looked up in surprise and then relief as his son rushed towards him. Stiles didn't say a thing though, merely fell to his knees as he threw his arms around him, closing his eyes to hold back the tears that threatened once more though it was more from his own relief as well.
Melissa watched the scene with a small smile before shifting just enough to look up at Chris. "Hey." Despite the bravado she was trying to put forth, he would see the fear giving way to relief and the rush of emotion that came with realizing that she was free. That he was there to save them.

Elijah sighed and rolled his eyes. "I'm sorry. You seemed ready to chat her to death. And she was hurling magic. Perhaps I should have just let her turn you into a frog..."
"...Can druids do that?" Isaac asked, mostly to Derek, mostly still just staring at the heart now on the ground.
Elijah tossed the handkerchief to Klaus. "It looks like you did a good job on her throat. Let's say we killed her together and perhaps see about getting on with the night..."
Klaus caught the scrap of fabric on instinct, but still looked disgruntled.
Chris watched Stiles and the sheriff for a moment, then shifted his gaze to Melissa, tucking his gun away and reached around to pull the knife at his belt free, laying it down by Stiles so he could cut the sheriff's ropes, while he got the one up his sleeve out and moved to Melissa, kneeling beside her. "Hey. That doesn't really look all that comfortable..."
no subject
"I don't know." Derek muttered towards Isaac. "I wouldn't be surprised." Then he nodded towards the cellar. "Go make sure Scott's mom is in there." Since he knew the woman had become important to Isaac as well.
Still watching him, Melissa smiled as he left a knife for Stiles before moving over to help her. "I have to say I've been in better." She murmured before realizing how that sounded. "I mean...I...nevermind." She looked down to watch the process as he started cutting her free while Stiles grabbed the knife to work on his Dad's bonds.

The vampire and the hybrid seemed not to notice the others' reactions to their actions and subsequent bickering. Like, really...this was their world, so, their lives.
"This is why we left Ireland in the thirteenth century," Klaus muttered.
Isaac just nodded at Derek, running to follow Allison down in the cellar, relief flickering over his face when he saw Melissa. He moved to kneel next to Chris, giving him, then her, a look. "Is she okay?"
Chris had just been about to reply to Melissa's statement when Isaac appeared, so he bit it back and but gave her a look that said he was, possibly, thinking about how things could be better with ropes. But he nodded at Isaac as he got the last ropes done, looking back at her. "I think so..."
no subject
Melissa saw the look on Chris's face and, for a second, she looked intrigued by what he might say but she was distracted by Isaac's sudden appearance. Recognizing the worry on his face, she smiled as she reached out her free arm to cup his cheek. "I'm okay, sweetheart." She reassured him before giving a confused frown. "Where is Scott?"
The question made Stiles look over with a frown, suddenly uneasy. "He's...."
Outside, Derek had moved to join the two vampires. "She's dead and it sounds like they found the Sheriff as well as Scott's mom."
no subject
Isaac resisted the urge to throw himself in Melissa's arms like a baby, but there were tears in his eyes, especially when she asked about Scott. He glanced at Stiles, then back at her. "Deucalion told him he could get you and the sheriff back, so. He went with him..."
Chris interjected, "But he's okay. Deucalion wants him in his pack, so he won't hurt him."
"And we've got you back," Isaac said, worrying at his lower lip. "And Ms. Blake is dead. So, we'll call him and let you know and he'll know he can come home." God, he hoped so, because he was on the verge of falling apart over it, a tiny tremble in his voice like the one thing he'd been leaning on was lost now.
Elijah tilted his head and listened to the reunion. "Good. Mission success, then."
no subject
But still...
"Deucalion won't let him go easily." She swallowed thickly. "I've talked to him, he's...there's just something very wrong with him." She nodded. "We need to call Scott. Now."
"We'll call him as soon as we get you guys out of here." Stiles nodded, looking at his Dad.
"We parked nearby but it's still a bit of a walk." Allison added, moving to the stairs as Melissa eased back, shifting to try to get to her feet though her legs gave out about half way.
Looking down at the body at his feet, Derek felt almost empty. The murders, the questions and the fear were gone now and it felt almost anticlimactic. Tearing his gaze away, he looked to Elijah again. "Not till we get Scott back."
no subject
Isaac didn't burrow into her side like he wanted to, though, but was there when she tried to stand, caught her when her legs gave out and helped her up, providing what he could of his own strength and support. She probably could feel him trembling, but it wasn't weakness, just emotion. He was steady enough to help her get feeling back and stretch as she needed. Chris seemed to realize he needed to, and stepped back, retrieving his knives and restrapping them on, though he was watching to make sure Isaac had it.
"We'll get him back," he promised her with a nod. "Let's get back to the cars, away from this place, and we'll call him, let him know you're okay. Deucalion needs him to be there by choice. Holding him against his will isn't the way to get his power added to the pack. I'm no saying he won't try to find another way to get him, but...it's in his interests to treat him well, still."
Elijah looked at Derek for a moment, then nodded. Klaus rolled his eyes, but shrugged. "We should get her away from here. Too much magic in the ground for my comfort."
no subject
"No one will buy an animal attack though." Not with how her heart had been ripped out.
"He should get to the hospital." Melissa nodded to the Sheriff but he merely shook his head, waving off their concern.
"I'm fine, just a bit stiff." He muttered as Stiles and Allison helped him up the stairs. They paused at the sight of the three men talking around the dead body. A sight that made him frown, open his mouth and then close it as he shook his head. "Get me away from here before I have to do something about that." He muttered, letting Stiles steer him away and back towards the cars.
Melissa didn't look either as she let them get her back to the cars as well.

Klaus gave Derek a slightly savage smile. "Don't worry about it--we're good with this. Elijah and I will take care of it and meet you back at the loft."
Because, seriously--Elijah's heart ripping out fetish kind of made this kind of thing fairly common.
Isaac glanced over a them, gave the sheriff a slightly rueful smile and wanted to say something about welcome to knowing about all the stuff that was going on, but he bit it back and just helped Melissa back to Chris's car, which was closest.
Chris glanced at them and nodded a little. "Stiles and I will get them ... either home or back to the loft...?" He wasn't sure if they should all meet back up or not.
"I'll call Scott," Isaac said, without thinking that, well, maybe Stiles or Allison would do that. But--Stiles had his dad to check on and....yeah. He kind of didn't think about Allison might want to call him.
no subject
"Take me home." Melissa told them all before looking at Stiles. "You two can come over. I have a kit at home." And she was sure that the Sheriff should get looked at.
Allison glanced over at Isaac but she nodded. "Call him. He needs to know we have them."
no subject
"Far, far away," Elijah murmured, hoisting her before they both blurred off.
Chris nodded. "Home it is." He glanced at Allison. "You follow us?"
Isaac pulled his phone out, pacing off a little bit and calling Scott.
no subject
Scott picked up on the third ring. "Isaac?"
no subject
Chris gave her a bit of a nod, uncomfortable, but figuring she was probably safe enough for the moment. Jennifer was dead, after all. "All right. We'll see you back at the McCall's, then."
Isaac wasn't much paying attention to them, just praying Scott would pick up. His relief when he did made him a little breathless, rushed, maybe a little vulnerable and trying really hard not to sound like he was pleading. Because what if Scott wanted to be with them, after all? He didn't think so, but nothing else had gone right in months. "Hey. We got them. Your mom and the sheriff. They're safe. Mr. Argent's taking them back to your place now, and the vampires killed Ms. Blake so...you don't have to do this, Scott. You can come home..."
no subject
"Wait, what?" Scott almost sounded like he couldn't believe it, turning away from the others who stood nearby. "How...how did you find them?"
no subject
"Mr. Argent and Allison and Stiles thought about this old tree with druid power or something. They thought she might be keeping them there and she was. They're okay. A little stiff from being tied up, but they're not seriously hurt or anything..."
no subject
Scott felt almost dizzy with relief, taking a couple steps sideways to brace himself against a tree as he let out a sigh. "I...thank god." It was hard to believe it was over though he did have to wonder what it would mean for the Alpha pack now. "Where are you? Tell me how to find you."
no subject
"Um...out on the preserve." Isaac sketched out what he remembered of directions. "Mr. Argent took your mom home, so I was going to head there..."
no subject
"I'm fine." The Sheriff nodded. "Really, I don't need to be looked at."
"Dad..." Stiles protested. "She stabbed you."
"Just wait, I'm nearby." Scott looked around, trying to find his bearings. "I'll come to you." He repeated. "Just wait for me."
Then he hung up the phone.
no subject
"Okay," Isaac said, willing to wait pretty much forever for Scott.
He hung up, looking at his phone for a moment, until he realized Allison was still there. He turned, giving her a confused look. "...You didn't go back with your dad?"
no subject
"I just wanted to make sure you were okay and that you got ahold of Scott." Allison replied, tilting her head to the side. "Is he going to meet us at his place? Can he get away from the Alpha pack?"
no subject
Isaac frowned a little at the making sure he was okay and tried to not shift too much. "Um, he said he was close to here, so I--we--should wait..."
Except he hadn't mentioned Allison was still here, hadn't realized it, honestly, too wrapped up in relief at hearing Scott's voice.
no subject
Allison wondered at the tension and the frown on his face but maybe it was to be expected. It wasn't like he had a reason to trust or like her.
"I'll...go back over here." She hid whatever she was feeling by turning away to head back or so it seemed.
Isaac would sense Scott a moment later and it wasn't long before the boy was breaking into the clearing running on all four. Straightening then, he jogged towards Isaac, looking relieved. "Isaac." He knew the other boy was most likely concerned and upset with him for going with Deucalion and, honestly, he felt guilty but he had thought it was the right thing to do.
no subject
Isaac watched her slip away, uncertain and a little guilty, and he was pretty sure Scott still loved her and that made him all sorts of...not knowing how to act around her. Like maybe he was just...keeping Scott company until he went back to her, or she decided she wanted him back, and Isaac would...let him go, do whatever he had to so Scott would be happy, but it made him uneasy.
Sensing Scott, though, his relief brushed away the rest of the way and he spun toward him, face lighting up in a smile that could have lit up a room, sheer relief and joy and need flickering over his face. "Scott!"
