It wasn't that Peter wanted to leave Scott behind, by any means, but he'd rushed back in there and the Alpha twins--who'd flipped sides just like he'd said they would--were right behind them and Cora had already stopped breathing once. So, he snarled at Isaac who could see the twins behind them and knew, if nothing else, he had a duty to his pack--of which Peter and Cora were a major part.
He floored it.
The epinephrine had burned off a little too fast, which had been embarrassing, but the adrenaline was still pumping--possibly the only thing keeping him upright, honestly. That and needing to take care of his pack...Cora hadn't regained consciousness, and he could only hope someone had found Derek.
Isaac didn't know where Scott was, didn't know if he'd gotten out, and he was shaking, but he got them back to the loft safely. Sure, the pack knew where it was, but they knew where all of them lived and where else were they going to go? Better somewhere they could sort of defend. They didn't have Ms. Blake, anyway, so why would they come after them?
When they got to the loft, Peter got Cora out of the car, lifting her with a pained wince, but when Isaac tried to take her, he snarled at the boy until he ran ahead, getting doors instead, letting them all into the loft and skidding to a bit of a halt at finding Lydia and Hayley sitting there.
Peter noticed the girls, but didn't process, moving across to get Cora on the table, somewhere they could work on her more easily than the sofa. After he got her there, he just leaned against it, head hanging down, breathing a little too hard.

Peter frowned at Lydia and took the whiskey back. "Then your other choices are soda or water. You're not having a whiskey chaser with your Percocet."

Lydia paused when she would have reached for the whiskey again, pursing her lips before giving up and sighing. "I don't even feel them anymore." She muttered, taking the juice from him. "I think they've already worn off."
Allison finished her drink, setting the empty glass down. "Maybe they don't work on you the same now." She felt a little more relaxed now which was nice but driving was going to pose an issue. Still... "I should get home. Deucalion might not be in a good mood tonight and I don't want my Dad home alone."

Hayley smiled at Derek, but then sat up straighter at Allison's comment. "I don't think that's a good idea..." She'd tensed and paled both, just a bit, and Elijah and Klaus both looked at her, then back to Allison.
"We'll take her home," Elijah remarked immediately. "We can drive her and her car back to her place, then walk back to the hotel. It's not that far..." Especially when you could move at the speed of light.

She wondered at the tension in Derek's girlfriend but she shook her head slowly. "No, it's okay. I don't want to stop you guys from having your celebration." Or whatever it was. She looked sheepish then, waving a hand in dismissal. "Really."
"I could drive you home." Lydia offered.
"No." Allison shook her head. "You probably shouldn't drive any more than I should. I could just call my dad."

Elijah downed his whiskey and stood. "It's not a problem. We need to go, anyway. Let everyone get some rest. It's been a hard, long night."
He moved to lean down and brush a kiss over Hayley's forehead. "Get some sleep, sweetheart. We'll check in tomorrow. Decide where we go from here with the Alpha pack, now that Scott's away from them."

Lydia moved away from Peter's side, walking around everyone to go to Allison's side, reaching out to touch her arm before nodding lightly towards the door. She glanced back at Peter then. "I'm just going to walk her downstairs." It would give them a moment to walk away from the others which was what they did as everyone said goodbye.
They hurried even, moving down to step outside after Allison had grabbed her bow. "What's wrong? You've got that look." Lydia pointed at her friend.
Allison hesitated before looking down. "I saw Scott and Isaac kissing." She murmured, looking at her friend.
Upstairs, Cora stared after the girls when they disappeared before looking over at the vampires. Specifically Klaus first. "Thanks again, by the way." Then she looked at Elijah with a faint smile. "See you later."
That comment made Derek arch a brow ever so slightly.

Klaus gave her a little bow. "Any time."
Elijah smiled a bit and nodded. "Until tomorrow."
Elijah turned to go, but Klaus lingered, eyes on Hayley. She arched an eyebrow at him. "Yes?"
"Nothing. Just...sleep well." He turned and followed Elijah down after the girls, leaving Hayley looking a little bemused before she shook it off and stood.
"Bed does sound amazing."

"Desk." Derek motioned with a grunt as he rose to his feet, nodding at Hayley, reaching out for her hand.
Downstairs, Lydia and Allison were hugging when Elijah and Klaus emerged from the building. Allison was quick to pull back then, composing her features into a neutral mask as she looked at her friend. "You're sure that you're okay to stay here?"
"I'll be fine, I'm with Peter." Lydia replied with a grin. "And don't worry, it's a good thing." She glanced over at the men then. "Goodnight."
